Peter John — Founder & Director
The story

Peter John is a creative producer and director with 25+ years leading story-first visual work across campaigns, performance-driven content, and documentary-style narratives. He founded and led Epik Films for over two decades before launching Cine Artistlabs in 2026.

Known for building clear creative vision, aligning stakeholders, and delivering high craft across fast-moving productions — 120+ music videos, 3 Dove Award nominations, 5 Platinum and 3 Gold certified projects, nearly 1B views worldwide.

Long-term collaborations with Morgan Evans, Simple Plan, Brad Cox, Planetshakers, The Paper Kites, Bliss n Eso, Kita Alexander, New Empire and Blackflag Brewery.

Based in Carlsbad, California on an O-1 visa — splitting time between the US, the Sunshine Coast, and Melbourne.
